You should check out the icons at other Warcraft modding sites, such as Hive or WC3C. You don't have to make everything by yourself :P

Dodge rate could just simply be the "Evasion" skill. Attack Damage could be a sword, and so on.

Gah.. I am probably the worst icon-maker in the history.. Someone who has some tips? (I want to create some simple, straightforward pictures that represent attributes, like dodgerate, hitrate, hitpoints, attackdamage and so on, but when I tried to create the "dodgerate"-icon, it looked like a yellow little man was poking at some white,,, thing..)
Hmmm, most of the Icons I do is by taking a good reference image, and edit them so they can look fine in wc3. If you post some images you consider to fit in your needs, I probably can do something :P

Well, the closest to what I want is icons already in a game (neverwinter nights to be exact).. What I want is simple, clear, black and white pictures that correspond a specific skill or attribute. (Why I want the colorless is because I want to color them ingame depending on which stat it is affected by ^^')

This icon is the one I find for the game, but I don't want to use their icons:

hmmm, the image is very small, but I get the idea... black background and transparent (white image) my question is: how are you going to apply team color to the icons??

Ohh, no team-colors. I will use the RGBA-color function for the image depending on which stat that it affects (A greenish-one for Stamina, red for Power and so on) so no need for team-colors ^^''
However, since I want to use the image-functions, it seems to need a alfa-channel (or that is what I have read) so I don't get the ugly square-things outside ^^'

Things have gone quite slow here now, stuff has happened in real life, and still got quite some things to do (study, both math and for a driver-licence, finish my guitar, search for jobs and I have also promised a friend to fix his computer).
 The GUI togheter with the specs and the enchant-system are nearly finished, and are the top-priority for me right now.
 Afterwards,  the system that activates the different events are required. When that is done, only a few extra things are needed to make it beta-testable.
 I can't give a date when this could be done, but I will try to proced with this when I have time and energy for it! :)

I can say that the GUI is ALMOST finished. Due to the real-numbers problem that I solved by only using large integers, there is still some numbers being shown very wrong (800 instead of 0.8 and so on) but the calculations work as they should practically.
 There is one more thing for me to do, until it is finished, and I could give a print of it ^^ (I'm planning on giving some extra information about a stt when you hover your mouse over. For example, i you hover over your attack-damage, you will see your (base+itembase)-damage, the damage given from every stat and the SidePDice/NrOfDices it uses. And similiar things to other stats as well as a small explanation of what a less-obvious stat does)

I've choosen to create 3team-options;
 FFA: The teams created for the events are solely made after the individuall Point-rankings, to get a as balanced event-team as possible. Points are calculated with Action-Points; every thing you do that affects other players (dealing damage, heal, buff/debuff, auras etc. that isn't casted on you) gives points.
 2-man-teams: Every player is always (or almost.. If you ain't 8 players, a team will splitup in 2-team-events) teamed-up with another player. This could be completely random-made in the begining, or random players have the possibility to choose a friend, or players who will choose who they want to be with lies in descending order. Points are calculated with action-points for the pair, however, buffs, auras and heals that affects you OR your permanent partner will not give direct points.
 FixedTeams: Teams are made from the begining, either randomly, or by making 2 leaders that themself chooses (Another idea here is to actually have 2 teams in the map-startup screen, so if you choose to go for fixed teams, you could use the one that is made from the startmenu. )
 Points are no longer calculated by actions, but simply pure event wins. Certain events might have specific goals, like a TS-event gives a point to the team that earned the most action-points. In this mode, you won't even be allied with the opposing team during the explore-time, giving further possibilities to destroy for the other teams. However, specs that require the death of a certain boss will still be unlocked for every player when the boss dies, undepending on whomever kills it.

A bit slow.. Some other projects came in the way, which I need to focus on quite alot, but I have some hours on a train tomorrow, so I will probably get some new things done then ^^
 The positive is that I do have a complete vision of the map, cause even if I haven't done anything practical on the map, my mind have been playing and working on ideas, tweaks and stuff to let me work faster when I finally have time and energy for this.
 But I have to say that right now, there is no real date to when I can get this up and running for an beta atleast, as energy is hard to plan, and it is prio 1 needed for my physics-studie. Don't worry however, I haven't abandoned this just yet ^^'
