UPDATE:
1. Lowered the polygons in the head.
2. Added a camera in the main model.

Troll Smash is a hero arena type of map for Warcraft 3 The Frozen Throne. All you need to do is to defeat your enemies according to the game mode you have chosen.

Story
During the invasion of the darklord in Lordaeron, many tolls died and still many were left homeless. These inhabitants fleed and looked for another place to live where they could do whatever they want. At last, they have found one. During their stay, they lived peacefully and sworn to defend the land for freedom. Things changed when gnolls came and destroy their homes. There were havocs and claims of any parcel of land, small or huge. Trolls became egocentric and would like to own every land they could see. Now, you, as a Forest Troll, should conquer the land and make it as your own. Defeat every trolls you see. Wipe them all out. There are few gnolls inhabiting the land, be watchful.

Game Mode
Kill All In this game mode, you are to select the number of deaths a hero will respawn. There are options that you can select, 1.) Deathmatch (no respawn or 1 death), 2.) Five Deaths, 3.) 15 deaths, and 4.) 20 deaths, and so forth. These means that if you select any of the choices you will only be revived according to it if the maximum number of death is reached, you are eliminated from the game.
Deathmatch In this mode, you will be eliminated if the number of deaths is reached.
Kills Count In kill count mode, there is no elimination of heroes that is implemented. The chosen leader will select how many times a player will kill to win.

Summons a fiery rock that deals fire damage to an enemy units close to it. Also destroys destructibles.
damage: 20/40/60
lasts: 5/10/15 sec
Cast Range: 100/200/300
AoE: 300/600/900

HOW TO IMPORT:
Just copy the triggers, the variables and the dummy unit into your map.

Warcraft 3 Map By: eubz
A. Gameplay
Troll Smash is a Hero Arena type of map using the Warcraft 3: Frozen Throne platform. The player’s task is to defeat all of his opponents thereby conquering the land/map. At the start of the game Player 1 will have to type “-startgame” (without the quotation marks) and select the number of death preferred by the group of players. Currently, there are four number of deaths to choose from which are: 1. Deathmatch, means that you will be eliminated or be defeated if the players’ hero dies. Heroes will not respawn at this kind of gameplay; 2. Five Deaths, a player whose hero dies 5 times in the game will be defeated; 3. Ten Deaths, A player’s hero will only be revived ten times; 4. Fifteen Deaths, A hero will have 15 lives in this kind of gameplay.

B. Commands
 The game has only two type-able commands: 1. “-players”, if you want to know how many players are in the game; 2. “-ping”, to where your enemies are.

Exporting a Model from Gmax to .MDL

This will guide you on how to export models from gmax using dex script for mdl file type.

What you will need:


The Tutorial

Saving the dex script.
  • Download dex script from the site I linked above in What you need part of this tutorial. Save it in the script folder of your gmax directory.

Exporting from Gmax
1. Be sure you have converted the model to editable mesh. If not, the model will not be exported well enough. To convert the model to editable mesh, just select the model, right click it then click Convert TO: > convert to editable mesh.
2. Also, be sure that the model to be exported is selected. In the menu bar, click MAXScript > Run Script so that the Choose Editor File Window appears. Find the Dex Script for gmax. Open it so the window for dex script appears.
3. Write the model name, add animations if there are,then click Print to Listener. After it, close the dex script window.
4. Click MAXScript in the menu bar. Click Max Script listener. The MaxScript Listener Window should appear.
5. Delete the part that says
Code: [Select]
Export Successful! which is found at the bottome of the mdl code and the part that says
Code: [Select]

Found at the very top of the mdl code.
6. Open a Notepad. Copy and paste all the remaining codes inside the MAXScript Listener Window into the notepad. I recommend using CTRL+A (Select All), CTRL+X (cut) when copying the codes so you will not miss a single letter in it.
7. As soon as everything is copied from the MAXScript Listener to the Note Pad, Close the MAXScript Listener Window as well as the gmax.
8. In the Note pad where you copied the mdl codes, Click File > Save As In the Save as type click All Files. In the File Name Write the model name and add .mdl as its extension. Close the note pad.
9. View the model in model editor or mdlvis if you want.
