Climate change... our fault??
on: October 30, 2012, 09:09:36 AM

Well, I'm transcendental now.

After seeing about Sandy (http://edition.cnn.com/2012/10/30/us/tropical-weather-sandy/index.html?hpt=hp_t1) and now New Yorkers have felt the power of an enraged nature, I think they should take more seriously about what's going on with our world.

Some people says that climate change is a natural process non related with the pollution and in the other hand there's evidence to the contrary, since our petroleum addiction, the increase in temperature have been higher than ever.

In the city where I live I can see a gray fog dome, because here we produce the most contaminated gasoline in Latin America, and the worst thing, is one of the most expensives in all the American Continent.

Contamination, no actions against it... what we have to wait to react?? I'd like to hear your opinions about this matter :)

Well i think we still have fault about this climate change, because of those factories bombing smokes on our atmosphere etc etc. But I still think that its really just nature people are just overreacting about this issue. If its our end then its our end, I already accepted the fact that any minute now I can die because you never know when accidents will happen.

Look at the Philippines. Im sure you would find events, such as tropical storms/typhoons, which dealt more damage than that Sandy but didnt make much of an impact as it did.

But yeah, we hurt Earth, which then in turn hurts ourselves, because we live on Earth. Couldn't care less though.

we have a part in damaging and hurting the earth, thus the earth deserves the right to hurt us in return.
we make those bombs, factories, smoking machines and stuffs that hurts the earth, while earth has the nature to hurt us as punishment.

We should tend to use ecological stuff and be very well documented about some products which claims to be ecological and it's not true.

For example, in my country (Colombia) is offered a gas which is claimed to be "nice with the environment" but actually it uses alcohol which is extracted from cane sugar and it made sugar and its derivatives more expensive, additionally, the mixture of this alcohol with the gas increase the evaporation point, which implies that 1/5 part of the gas in car vaporizes by just being in the vehicle tank.

In conclusion: this gas makes you consume more often, uses human food in vehicles, and the contamination is the same. What a shit >:(

Coca Cola is trying to make an eco-friendly bottle, using ice instead of plastic (google it). However, it seems to be using more energy than saving by cooling the ice bottle, etc.

Well, there is equally amount of research that says that the will go warmer as there is that the world will go colder because the environment damage we cause. But here in sweden, it will be equally bad whatever of this it will be, since if it will be colder, then we might even get an iceage, and if it get hotter, alot of the northpole-ice will melt, which will make a huge amount of freshwater to get in the sea and f*ck up the Gulf-Stream (which are the primary reason we could have 30deg C in the summer despite our northern position) and we will get an ice age..

Wonder why those trees were cut down, they actually slow down climate changes.
