Title: Suggestions
Post by: Jet on July 03, 2013, 08:03:35 PM
Perhaps there should be a suggestions section.
That, and/or other sections. I suppose it depends how many people will frequent these forums, since there's no point categorizing everything when traffic is really low.

- Anyway, I highly recommend you implement the ability to jump while on a ladder; gameplay potential seems lacking without it, but maybe it's just me.

- Is there any list of game mechanics you plan to add? I'm really interested in seeing things like:
- more enemy types
- destructible terrain (à-la Jetpack)
- better indicators of what a switch might do  such as via color coding. Objects could be tinted blue to indicate to the player that it's affected by a blue switch.

The forum will expand with new sections if more people join. For three users, what we have right now is plenty.

This is something I've been planning to implement for a while. It will be in the next update.

Not yet, but I will create one soon.

- more enemy types
New types of enemies will be added to the game as I need them. Feel free to suggest new types you'd like to see.

- destructible terrain (à-la Jetpack)
Phasing out blocks like in Jetpack will not be part of the native gameplay, but I could add support for it via JetScript.
The only thing that can currently destroy terrain is the TNT block.

Some old-school color-coded switches and doors will be added later.
